Safety first for Walsall Wood Tyre and Service

Walsall Wood Tyre & Service, a Falken Tyre specialist, based on Hall Lane Industrial Estate, Walsall, held its first tyre safety event as part of TyreSafe's National Tyre Safety month in October 2018.

From its conception, the garage has fast become the go-to in the local community for tyre and vehicle service needs. Since opening its doors in 2015, they have offered a complete in-house vehicle repair solution including an MOT test facility coupled with state-of-the-art computerised digital wheel alignment and full-service ramps. 

They became an accredited Falken Tyre specialist within their area in 2016 which has spring-boarded their local reputation through the supply of top quality, purse friendly and award-winning Falken Tyres, while always offering high-level customer service and advice to their growing customer base.

October saw a partnership between Falken Tyre sole UK distributor, leading UK tyre wholesaler Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) and Walsall Wood to jointly host an interactive tyre safety event and talk with over 30 guests in attendance throughout the evening. 

Nathan Taylor, Director at Walsall Wood, commented “As an owner of a business I do what I do because I care, so tyre safety is hugely important to our business ethos and an opportunity to raise people’s awareness that we readily welcome. 

We already offer free tyre safety checks to returning and any new/passing customers - we also want to lead the way concerning tyre safety and advice within our local area. We have been delighted with the response and feedback from all guests, and we are now in planning stages for a series of safety events throughout 2019". 

All guests took part in a 60-minute interactive safety talk followed by a light buffet and refreshments. All guests in attendance were given a free comprehensive information pack and more robust understanding of tyre safety and the services Walsall Wood Tyre & Service offers.
